The Nokia N85 is a real beauty. I managed to get my hands on a unit before it’s official launch in Malaysia.

The phone comes with many interesting functions – GPS, FM Transmitter, RSS, Internet Radio, N-Gage Games…etc. The sound for the standard headphones are clear, good and enough bass.

On the down side, the phone will start to slow when a few programs are running simultaneously and sometimes could restart by itself. This problem happened quite often when I was using it in offline mode while I was in the plane.

As for the GPS, I installed Gramin and much better than the Nokia Maps. The software is simple to use and the maps are more constantly updated. The GPS has proven to be extremely useful especially in my out of town trips.
