Last week I was in Singapore and stayed at the newly refurbished Pan Pacific Singapore. I stayed in the Deluxe room, which comes with a king size bed, complimentary internet service, iron with board and other amenities in the room.

The bathroom has a three different showers which allows guest to choose their favourite. The room offered the latest technologies including Avaya internet protocol phone and internet protocol televison (IPTV). The IPTV showed lags at time where the conversation and the picture is not in sync, so it was a bit weird watching it.

The room in Pan Pacfic Singapore comes with a motion sensor to control the air condition and lighting ensuring everything is energy efficient.

The room is suitable for couples but many not be suitable for children or adults sharing a room (e.g. co-workers) as the shower room has a glass which can be seen from the bed. Although it is frosted in the middle section, you can still see the persons shape as the lighting from inside the bathroom is rather strong.

During the three days that we stayed at the Pan Pacific Singapore, we loved the breakfast which offered a wide selection including Japanese island, Indian island, Dim Sum station, Crepe and Waffle station and even ice cream section with a chocolate fountain!

The location of Pan Pacific is ideal as it’s nearby to Marina Bay Sands and the MRT station is nearby. Shopping is also easy as it’s connected to Marina Square and Millenia Walk, Suntec City, Raffles Link is just a short walk away. Guest can also walk through all these shopping malls all the way to Raffles City!

The Pan Pacific Singapore is a great place to stay. Recommended.
