I've just flown back from Melbourne with MAS. It's well worth it.. The service was really great. But I agree with Eugene that it’s good that travellers will now have a choice to another destination. Tickets are cheap but after taxes, fuel surcharge, etc. still come up to RM1500++ for a return which i suppose is still cheaper than MAS but is still a big lump of money for me.
